I’m testing your plug-in on our new site and it hides categories well. However, if I try to link to a hidden category I get a 404 error. Can categories be hidden from menu display, but still accessible through other links.
Hi there, I have been using your plugin on http://www.heliomail.com for a while and it’s great however I have just updated to WP3.1 and it appears to have broken it :(

i’m admin of the site above, and on our category list i cannot get rid of one called “uncategory”. There is no checkbox to delete it or perform other actions on admin panel and there is a note at the bottom : “Deleting a category does not delete the posts in that category. Instead, posts that were only assigned to the deleted category are set to the category uncategory”. I want to make uncategory be invisible on the site. Therefore I have installed your plugin for hiding categories, but don’t see any additional toolbar or buttons on my admin panel so I could hide/unhide categories. I’m using WP 2.9.2.

I have activated the plugin but I see no change anywhere and no way to hide categories.

Made that a ‘hidden category’
Posts still show “Posted in Uncategorized”
Plugin works great. Does exactly as it says. No issues no problems.Love the other plugins too!
I installed your plugin, but you never said Where in the admin panel I can make these changes. can you tell me the exact location?
is there anything that can hide categories in BuddyPress? this plug in apparently cannot.
